Alfresco removes script elements from HTML files

I am trying to serve a simple site that was done with bootstrap and some plugins.

I uploaded all the static files but dropping them in the document library.

When I View in the browser I notice the <script> elements were missing.

Why would Alfresco alter my content without even warning me?

How do I disable this removal?

Alfresco never alters any content unless you add code to do that for you.

In the case of HTML, try downloading the HTML file and looking at it instead of using "View in Browser".

I think you'll find that when you use "View in Browse" the script elements are stripped, but when you download the file, you get the file exactly as it was uploaded.
