I am using Alfresco 5.0 and upload about 400 PDF files (about 2MB each) to it per day.

Recently I found that some of files can be uploaded successfully within 20 seconds; however, some of them can be uploaded to Alfresco, but Alfresco does not create indexes for them.

By using the "Repository Browser", I can find those files being uploaded to the "Repository" folder, but they are not searchable by the "Repository" search function.

HI:

-  Did you mean that you can not find some documents when searching, but you can find it when browsing in document library ?

- May be the case that you try to search in the repo in the moment after you upload them ?

- Did you see any indexing errors in catalina.out or solr.log ?
