This is a remind the the public repository doesn't contains the alfreso-super-pom.pom at all. I have someone could fix it.
Which super POM(s) are you referring to specifically? Also, what do you consider as "public repository"? Generally, if you have a specific issue then JIRA would be the place to file it in.
The pom.xml under the root folder of source code 5.2d (alfresco platform) refers to an artifact named 'alfresco-super-pom' as its parent pom, which is supposed to define the versions of maven plugins. This artifact doesn't exist in the alfresco-public repository. Luckily, I found the missing pom file in a github project (named alfresco-super-pom-master) soon after raising the question.
So my problem can be regarded as solved.
Thank you for answering and sorry for those typos.
Ok - so you were trying to build the base Alfresco source code. That is not something that external developers should typically need to do and for that reason Alfresco may not consider publishing this super POM to a public repository.
