How to upgrade alfresco from 7.3.x to 23.4 in ansible way setup? what all steps required?

Team,

we are using alfresco enterprise 7.3, which are installed ansible way by previous team/project.

Our team is mostly familar with distribution zip way, ansible way is new to team.

Can anyone provide steps, how can we upgrade our existing 7.3.x setup which is setup with ansible way, and I want to upgrade it to 23.x ?

Ansible is "just" an automated way to do what you can do in manual install, so you can upgrade manually your 7.3 installation.

However, the upgrade process (see docs) means:

Install ACS 23.x OOTB from scratch (via zip or Ansible) on a new server
Test it
Install your customizations on it
Test it
Connect a copy of the old DB and content store
Test it
