Debug process with Activiti

I launched a process via the Activiti API (runtimeService.startProcessInstanceByKey ..) The process started, but Eclipse doesn't stop on my breakpoints in the process task class. Where am I wrong? Do I have to use the tomcat with activiti-explorer etc .. to debug?

Activiti ver: 5.19.0
