Populate aspect metadata from primary type metadata

Hello the community

I would want to fill metadata of an aspect with values coming from metadata of a primary type, aspect and primary being attached to the same content.

Is it possible ? and are we able to trigger this filling when creating or updating the content  or by using any other event or rule in alfresco ?
