I,m using alfresco 6.2 (docker), have upgraded it from alfresco 5.2. successfully shifted the databse but now i'm unable to connect alfresco 6.2 to active directory LDAP. i need some step by step guide for this.

You need ldap-ad.
simply add to your alfresco-global.propertis:
