when you upload file into afresco, it will show you "XX file uploaded into system", went though the database and content folder, but cannot find out anything.
where is the activity log?

It is stored in the database in the alf_activity_feed / alf_activity_post tables. The "post" entries are the unprocessed events while the "feed" entries are the actual rows for items to be shown to the end user (filtered based on permissions / site memberships, as well as "following" during post processing).
