Creating Content from Database Tables

kulkaamb

Hi,
I'm trying to use WCM for Featured Product display on our site.

I've a bit different requirement. The content manager needs to select products from a PRODUCT table we have in Oracle.

Can I customize/exend the "create content" part in alfresco to popuate products from a Oracle table instead of a Web Form.

Any pointers/documents/examples on how to extend or create custom content forms to be fed from database would be helpful.

Thanks,
Ambadas

The best approach is to use webform and write a java class to get the list of products into the webform
you can look at press-release.xsd to dynamically get values from jsp
