cant authenticate as consumer

Hi all

I am running the following lucene query

(PATH:"/app:company_home/cm:Commercial_x0020_and_x0020_Agreements//*") AND (TYPE:"{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}folder")
‍‍‍

If a user has any role except consumer they can see all the folders below the Commercial and Agreements folder but if a user has the consumer role I get

{}faultData:<ns1:errorCode xmlns:ns1="http://www.alfresco.org/ws/service/action/1.0">0</ns1:errorCode><ns2:message xmlns:ns2="http://www.alfresco.org/ws/service/action/1.0">Access Denied.  You do not have the appropriate permissions to perform this operation.</ns2:message>‍‍

Any help would be appreciated - im not sure if i am doing something wrong or if you need higher priviledges to see content using the Web services api

The users with consumer roles must have at least that role on all folders in the path you are searching in - do they have access to 'Company Home' and 'Commerical and Agreements'?

Hi Kevin,

The users do have the consumer role for both 'Company Home' and 'Commercial and Agreements' I am using the GROUP_EVERYONE with consumer role for both folders.
