Changing text in a .properties resource

drbaz

I have changed
spaces.company_home.name = XXXXXXX in the bootstrap-spaces.properties file
What do I have to do to make my changes appear on the web site ?
Restart Alfresco ? Re-compile ( I hope not ) ?
Thanks

Barrie

The bootstrap is only used the first time alfresco starts. More directly the first time it detects the schema it has attached to is empty. As far as I know you would need to kill your schema and restart in order to have the company home name change via the bootstrap.

You might try changing it
a: by hand
b: in an export then re-import
c: via the webclient (I am not sure this works)
