As I understand the only way to start a new advanced workflow process is going to jBPM console? If so, am I carrect what only administrator is able to start a new process?

Could anyone give me a sample how regular user could start advanced workflow processes?

Go to any document - click on the drop down menu - select 'Start Workflow'.

I think I asked wrong question about my problem - I need a workflow, which starts without documentation at all, as uploading documentation will be a part of workflow process. Is this possible?

The most natural way of working with it would be applying workflow to spaces, but I saw several requests for it and as I understood it will not be implemented in the near future.

I see. Yes, collection or creation style workflows are often required and it's possible to support these with advanced workflow. Unfortunately, the UI doesn't yet provide the 'Start Workflow' option without first selecting a document. You can start a workflow via javascript, so you could customise the Web Client by adding a new custom action that starts a workflow.
