I installed Alfresco and followed the instructions to make a link pointing to the imconvert.exe. I created the link in the path. Whenever I attempt to login to Alfresco the "admin" password and userid is not recognised and I get the following error:
"ERROR [main] (AbstractImageMagickContentTransformer.java:124) - ImageMagickContentTransformer not available: Failed to execute command: imconvert /u01/app/alfresco_liferay/liferay/temp/Alfresco/ImageMagickContentTransformer_init_source_62239.gif  /u01/app/alfresco_liferay/liferay/temp/Alfresco/ImageMagickContentTransformer_init_target_62240.png"

I then installed ImageMagick from the rpm and this was placed in the /usr/bin which is in the path.
I still got the same error.

I would appreciate it if some help can be given to point me in a direction for a solution.

I have started Alfresco as "ROOT" to ensure that I have the necessary permissions, as well as ensuring that the necessary execute permissions have been set for other users, so I can no longer consider it as a permissions problem.
Help would be much appreciated.
