Bulk upload of Users and Groups in Alfresco 1.4

Can anybody suggest me a way to bulk upload users and groups into Alfresco 1.4.

I have large number of users and groups … and I do not want to go through 100s of clicks to add them in to Alfresco.

NOTE: Earlier there is use to be a command line utility
org.alfresco.tools.Import -user

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

You could use

1) The bootstrap process.
2) LDAP integration.
3) Generate import XML yourself from some source data and wire it up like the LDAP import process.

How does one create groups and users through the bootstrap process? Presumably one registers a bean, but what class?

Is this using the org.alfresco.repo.module.ImporterModuleComponent?
