Problem overriding a Seam component using Nuxeo IDE

Following http://answers.nuxeo.com/questions/11246/how-to-add-a-new-field-to-relations we have made all the necessary steps to override a Seam component using Nuxeo IDE, but we have a problem when we try to deploy it:

If we create a JAR (Nuxeo > Export JAR), and copy it to the plugins directory, it works.
If we start the server from the IDE with the project selected in the Deployment Configurations, or we hot reload it, our component is ignored.

We are using Nuxeo SDK 6 HF01 and Eclipse Luna.

Are we missing a configuration, or is there a problem with IDE or the SDK in this case?
