Site Configuration

psycdoc

Hello,

I am new to Alfresco, I recently downloaded Alfresco Community to evaluate it for a particular need. I added my first site and wanted to configure it so that it did not display a "Dashboard". For this particular need, we just want the Document Library to display, nothing else. Is there a way to remove the Dashboard and Members pages?

I added a picture of what I am talking about.

If you go to the site dashboard on the right side Click on More and then customize site. From there you can just have Document Library there.

For the dashlets again at the site dashboard click on Customize Dashboard on the right and then remove the dashlets that you don't want.

The only one that seems standard is the "members" I don't believe you can get rid of that.

Thank you that was helpful, however is there a way to NOT have a "Site Dashboard"? I just really want the Document Library, nothing else..

I don't believe so. I think it is used as a navigation page to go to different elements. You could just put the document library on the dashboard and that would work.
