### FTP Server Configuration ### ftp.enabled=true ftp.port=2121
Hi Jeff, I'm experiencing the same issue. Ican log in using ftp and navigate using cd to get to (say) a alfresco/Sites/<sitename>/documentLibrary.
However, any use of ls produces this type of response:
229 Entering Extended Passive Mode (|||42257|)
After quite a while, I then get:
ftp: Can't connect to `<ip-address>': Operation timed out200 Port OK150 File status okay, about to open data connection-rw-rw-rw- 1 user group 91328 Jun 20 2011 document1.pdfdrw-rw-rw- 1 user group 0 Apr 30 2013 Departments and Regions226 Closing data connection
Any advice would be appreciated.

Looks like I just answered my own question. As soon as I set connect mode to Active, things began to roll...
Now my problem is having a network-connected scanner that only does passive mode.
In which case, is there a way to force Alfresco to use standard Passive mode?

And, once again, I have found my answer courtesy of Giuseppe Urso in Italy.
My network-connected scanner is operational once again.
Grazie Guiseppe!
