I have a fresh install of 4.2.d community using solr indexing. The default indexer from bin file.

When I edit a document and try to add a tag I get the following:

org.alfresco.repo.search.impl.lucene.LuceneQueryParserException: 08300308
‍‍‍

Also,
When I go to Admin Tools/Tag Manager I get the following error.

08300002 Wrapped Exception (with status template): 08300155 Failed to execute script 'classpath*:alfresco/templates/webscripts/org/alfresco/repository/tagging/tags.get.js': 08300154
‍‍‍

This is a brand new install with only a couple of documents (.doc)uploaded to do some testing. I've tried to initiate a re-index by doing the following:

1. Stopped Alfresco
2. dir.root/solr/archive/SpacesStore (deleted contents)
3. dir.root/solr/archive-SpacesStore/alfrescoModels (deleted contents)
4. dir.root/solr/workspace/SpaceStore (deleted contents)
5. dir.root/solr/workspace-SpacesStore/alfrescoModels (deleted contents)
6. Started Alfresco

I still have the same issue. To my understanding alfresco indexes automatically without any user interaction. Is there a function other than what I have done to get the indexing started?

Other than that I'm at a loss as to what the issue is.

This is very latest release and I do not think this issue is because of indexing. You can raise issue in Alfresco JIRA if you feel that it's out of box issue.
