Alfresco Performance

Hi,

We are using Alfresco 4.1.4 version with Tomcat application server for Document storing/retrieving. Document retrieval from Alfresco search functionality is taking more time, hence want to know if we use WebLogic or JBoss application server instead of Tomcat with same configurations does the performance improves?

I doubt it. You use Weblogic or JBoss for their extra features, its unlikely that there will be much difference in search performance.

That said, search performance can be affected by many things, so its important to understand what the problem is before attempting any "fixes".

And since you are using Alfresco 4.1.4 have you called alfresco support?
