I have downloaded community version from the link Alfresco Community Edition file list 201609-EA

It is with version Alfresco Records Management Community 2.5.a

Now if I ran community fresh vanilla instance, there is no issue but when I applied RM amps, there are lots of issues I am facing it is also messup share document actions as well.

After applying RM amps , while starting I am observing below error in "catalina.out"

Alfresco is started with above two errors but, when we are going to create any normal site, and create folder, after application restart it automatically assign folder as record and right side document actions gone "invisible"

Any of site, or new site having same behaviour and it wont allow me to delete site also.

I hope Alfresco people at least tested their vanilla instance of community with their provided RM amp

Hello,

I'm afraid that the most recent Community RM release hasn't been tested with Alfresco 5.2. We're aware of some compatibility issues and are working on fixing them at the moment (literally, as I type this, I'm waiting for a local build to test a compatibility fix for the create site dialog).

You have two options:

1) Use RM 2.5.a with an Alfresco 5.1 community release, e.g. Alfresco Community Edition 201605 GA Release Notes (this is, unsurprisingly, the most recent "GA" community release).

2) Wait until we release a compatible version of RM. This will likely be in the next few weeks - expect a blog post from me with an update.

As David points out, we recognize that RM does not yet work with the 5.2 series of releases and we are working on addressing the problems.

When we released 201609, we had not yet identified the problems you are seeing. There was a lack of coordination in our testing, so there was some confusion about what testing had been done with RM installed on Alfresco Platform 5.2.a. I'll be more careful in the future before listing RM as being a compatible module.

I'm grateful that you helped us catch this problem during the EA testing. Thank you!

I recently started migrating our 5.1.e community to 5.2.g community with RM 2.6.a, and I have exactly the same errors. It seems it happens when it tries to run the AdminUserPatch. I suppose these versions should already be compatible with each other?

By the way, I should point out I only have this issue on the server, where I have an already existing database from 5.1.

Locally I start with a new database and I have no issues (I couldn't try with a migrated local database because it seems it can't find some of the scripts to upgrade H2 databases to the new version).

Any ideas or workarrounds ?

I asked the team, and they said that those versions should work together.

We run extensive upgrade tests on our Enterprise module, and we haven't seen that issue. The two products are close enough that we don't generally do as much upgrade testing between our community versions. We will check if this is an issue specific to upgrading between versions of Community Edition.

i have same problem, but i have maybe one hint:

if i remove from authentication.chain (at alfresco-global.properties) passthru and ldap then RM works ok.
