No Start New Process on Activiti Explorer

qwerty20

I was able to install and access Activiti (Probe, Explorer, Modeler and Cycle) but as seen on http://www.activiti.org/userguide/index.html#examples there should be a tab "Start New Process" on Activiti Explorer. I'm using alpha4 and beta1.

Thanks

Also would like to ask if Business Process Diagram (BPMN 2.0) on activiti-modeler is already working?
I receive an error page (unable to connect) after clicking Business Process Diagram (BPMN 2.0)

Hi Qwerty,

I'm sorry to say that the documentation is out of date. I'll make sure it's updated. In the mean time, please check the processes tab on the left-hand side of the navigation bar, next to 'Tasks'.

The error above looks like it's related to a file system issue - does the default modeler directory exist and is it writeable? Unless it's changed in this last release, there should be a directory called: "activiti-model-repository" located in "activiti-5.0.beta2/apps" next to the h2 and apache-tomcat directories.

Beta2? I've only tried alpha4 and Beta1 from http://www.activiti.org/download.html
The error above only appears on aplha4 so I now used beta1. I was able to access Business Process Diagram (BPMN 2.0) on activiti-modeler by editing web.xml, changed localhost to myserverip.
I think for now I'll wait for the 5.0 release and the updated userguide documentation.
Thank you and more power to you guys.

Yep - Beta 2 should be out shortly. It'll be worth checking out, it's got some good improvements over the last version.

David.
