not connect to smtp server

i create a workflow for approval and rejection of any document.. but when i run this , this workflow throws an exception " Failed to approve the document due to system error: 08290004 Failed to send email to:[Anshul] "
when i configure the outbound and inbound mail in configuration file. it give the exception
" Mail server connection failed; nested exception is javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: nucsoft.co.in, port: 25;"
and
" Could not connect to SMTP host: nucsoft.co.in, port: 25;"

please help me..

Try editing alfresco.properties using this

mail.host= nucsoft.co.in
mail.port=25 
mail.username= anonymous 
mail.encoding= UTF-8
mail.from.default=alfresco@nucsoft.co.in
mail.smtp.auth= false ‍‍‍‍‍‍
