Why the users' email address can not be updated ?

I am using alfresco 3.0 preview , and I found when I change user's email address and then save, everything seems to be OK. But after that I logout and login to the user, the email was resetted, does anyone have any ideas on this ? And there is no exception in the alfresco.log.

I'm not familiar with the version "alfresco 3.0 preview". But if you are using a 3.0 version or a preview version then I suggest you try on a more recent version.

And how are you changing the user's email address, for example are you using Alfresco Share or a WebScript or Alfresco Explorer?
