Adv Search in folder

pl_componize

I know this has been requested multiple times, but I couldn't find a satisfactory answer.

Is there a way to extend the advanced search in Alfresco Share to include search in folder (like in Explorer) without hacking the advsearch.js but using a clean customization?

Thank you.

Which way do you mean, include search in folder? Like, a functionality to select a folder and search only within that folder?

Exactly, search within a specific folder you've selected. This is a feature which was available in Explorer.

From my experience, I don't see an extension possible. The best that I can think of is to watch what repo calls does the Explorer do with this search and than imitate that from Share, but that'd still include customizing Share.

Did you try looking for what call does the explorer search make?
