change mainpage after login

Hi Guys,

i want to change the mainpage after the login. i know, that i have to change the index-site.jsp
the user, who is in the project "xyz", be pass the site dashboard of this project.
if the user isn't in the project "xyz", than he passes his user dashboard.

i need a query like this:

if(userid.containsProject("xyz"))
{
       response.sendRedirect(request.getContextPath() + "/page/site/xyz");
}
else
{
       response.sendRedirect(request.getContextPath() + "/page/user/" + URLEncoder.encode(userid) + "/dashboard");
}‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

Can anybody send me the write code for this query? i have no idea and i work with alfresco since 1 week  ops:

the "isMember" method is the solution for my problem, right?

public boolean isMember(java.lang.String authorityName)

Indicates whether a user is a member of the site.

Parameters:
authorityName - user name
Returns:
boolean true if the user is a member of the site, false otherwise‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

i changed my index-site.jsp with the isMember Methode

String siteName = "xyz";
   if (siteName.isMember(URLEncoder.encode(userid)))
      response.sendRedirect(request.getContextPath() + "/page/site/xyz/dashboard");
   else
      response.sendRedirect(request.getContextPath() + "/page/user/" + URLEncoder.encode(userid) + "/dashboard");

if i will log in, i get an error message:

A problem has occurred.
This page could not be rendered:
site-index
Please notify your system administrator.

and the .log file says:

An error occurred at line: 35 in the jsp file: /site-index.jsp
The method isMember(String) is undefined for the type String

this means, that "String" dont have the isMember method, right?
but which type must i use? can somebody help me?  ops:
