Guest role and checkout / checkin

Hi,

1/ a user can do a checkout from a space where he is "guest" to a space where he is "contributor". How can I give to this user only read rights to the first space ?

2/ a user can do a checkin from a space where he is "contributor" to a space where he is "guest". How can I give to this user only read rights to the second space ?

PS : I use the version 1.1

Hi

Guest alone should not allow check out or check in.

Check out requires write access to a node.

It could be that the user created the file (and therefore has default owner rights), has been assigned as the owner, has admin rights, or has suitable permissions inherited from a parent node. If you have groups, then check the permissions assigned to groups and group membership.

Check the permissions assigned to the nodes and parents.
