Calendar Notifications in Share 4.0.c

vishalkrv

Hi,

I'm using Alfresco 4.0.c
I need to send email notification to selected members or all the members if a calendar event is created.

I referred previous posts but it didn't seem to work with the newer version.

Kindly help me, as I'm on a deadline. :?

If using java is an option for you the easiest way (I think) would be to register a behaviour to act on the onCreateNode event for a calendar event.

This (pretty old) article from jett potts shows the principles and have examples on how to implement behaviours in javascript as well.
