Print notes on a PDF document

decibel83

Hi.

Is it possible with Alfresco to print any notes (as a traditional stamp) on a document archived in Alfresco?
For example, I approve an invoice and I can export as a PDF document (or print it) the same invoice with my approvation printed on it.

Cold you help me please?
Thank you very much!
Bye.

Short answer is yes.

You'll need to define / develop a customer transformation to stamp additional text during the transformation. See attached presentation at http://share.alfresco.com/share/page/site/community/document-details?nodeRef=workspace://SpacesStore/ebbea36e-f545-42fe-8f1a-09fe38ec38e4 for example of such transformation. The custom transformation is applied when ever anyone downloads a document from Alfresco. The text / notes applied to the PDF is specified by a freemarker template, which can be selected by the administrator.
