Reading properties values from external database

Hi!
Does any one know how to create constraints on a property value, where possible values for the property are loaded from a external data base? I can not use constraints in the Alfresco data model because a list of possible values is changed in time. Any example for this?

I do now beleive that there are done solutions for this.
so maybe you can add check on situations where values can be changed, for example adding, and editing document you can do check for allowed values.
