<memory failure>Yes there's a reason, however I can't now remember what it was :? </memory failure> It's probably got something to do with performance and the consequences of having to deal with potentially huge numbers of users if large groups are exploded.In Share the membership via a group is not exactly the same as being an individually listed member. For example groups are not invited into a site and groups can't leave sites. And the individual members of a group are not listed in the colleagues dashlet.I suggest you raise an enhancement request in JIRA so the issue can be voted for and re-considered properly if it gets sufficient votes.
