[solved] Where can I download old versions of alfresco?

Hi everybody,

I have real troubles upgrading from alfresco 2.9.0B to 3.0 or 3.2. Nothings works, no manual creation of avm_issuer_ids table or anything else. So I thought I maybe should upgrade from 2.9.0B to 2.9.0 first and then go on. Does that sound reasonable? And if so, where can I get it? I only find recent versions (3.2), not even 3.0.

I'm in the same boat. We didn't go with the Labs version 3 to avoid upgrade issues. Seems we should have gone with 2.1, not 2.9b.

THANK GOD FOR BACKUPS. The README file for 2.9b says, "Welcome to the Alfresco 2.1 Release." so I'm not even certain that 2.9b is the final name for this release.

I've spent over an hour today trying to find **any** older CE releases besides "3.2r". Earlier this week, it was easy to find older releases. What gives?

Yup, me too, just found http://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALF-2617 which stops me even being able to try 3.3 Community. I would be happy to go back a couple of versions, but there is no option, obvious version hacks on the download link fail, unfortunately.

Out of interest, if you go out and buy a related Alfresco book: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Main_Page, its going to be for an older version. Um, so If you can't get that version, then the use of the book is?

(i) I just found http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Download_Labs_Preview, so I've just got the 3.2preview2, and there is also http://dev.alfresco.com/downloads/nightly/dist/ which has the current distros. I think it will be an idea to setup an adding rsync to catch new versions and retain older ones.

Anyone got a 3.0/3.1/3.2 community .tgz install on a public FTP/http site? Thanks! Would still be nice to get the final 3.2 release…

Get them while you can !

Nb: always upgrade to final version version before upgrade major steps.
Also never use small versions for production system, only use finals.

it's there indeed, I missed it, because "Web Service Client" is expanded by default. The files are all the way down under "Alfresco". Strange this topic needed 8 month to get resolved…
