Combining multiple word documents into a single PDF file

Hello,
Is there a way to combine multiple word documents to create a single PDF file?
There are rules to transform a single word document to PDF via a rule but are there methods to generate that PDF file from multiple files? If not, how could I go about creating this functionality?

Any suggestions and pointers will be greatly appreciated.
