Call Web Script from Share using Link Dashlet Requires Login

I added a Share Link to start a web script and used /WCSERVICE in the url thinking that the user would not have to login again, but the user is prompted to login even though they are already authenticated via Share login. Is this the correct behavior?

Share and the repository both run on the same machine. I am not passing a ticket since I didn't think it would necessary and using the Link dashlet there is no opportunity to insert a ticket.

Call through the authenticating proxy that Surf provides. e.g. /share/proxy/alfresco/api/metadata in place of /alfresco/wcs/api/metadata

Here is my original url: http://localhost:8080/alfresco/wcservice/uploadrequestWebscript/uploadrequest.html

I found that the following url works, with exception: http://localhost:8080/share/proxy/alfresco/uploadrequestWebscript/uploadrequest.html which connects to the webscript, but my YUI code no longer works. I suspect that relative path references are no longer found in my html due to the proxy path. I have relative path references to load YUI modules, which are stored locally. I tried some other webscripts which don't use relative paths and they work fine (plus it does not prompt for a login

).

Any suggestion for calling a web script that has a relative path from a Share Link?

I am thinking that if I launch the web script using remote.connect approach that the relative paths won't be a problem.
