(DoD Test Data) Folders but no records?

Hello,

So I got the RM module set up on a 3.2r installation on Mac OS X using the MMT.

Checked out Explorer and the only mention of records management are templates and scripts under "Company Home > Data Dictionary > Records Management "
Fine and good, it was mentioned elsewhere that there is no explicit implementation for Explorer.

Turning to Share where the actual implementation is.
I follow the instructions on pages 31-33 of:
http://wiki.alfresco.com/w/images/2/2a/Installing_and_Configuring_Alfresco_ECM_Community_Edition_3_2_r.pdf

No problems.

However when testing RM out by clicking on the "Load Test Data" link in the user dashboard area produced plenty of record containers and record folders…. but no actual records?  Unless part of the DoD test didn't involve actual records….

Posting the log file items:

So the big question is, where are the records?

mikeh

You're expected to supply your own records

Basically, the test data is a standard folder structure and set of disposition instructions that facilitate development and testing for the DOD Certification process - it's not intended as a boilerplate for your particular requirements.

You can file records (in Record Folders only, remember!) via CIFS, WebDAV, FTP, copying from an existing Share site, uploading or via an IMAP e-mail client. Or you can create non-electronic records to represent physical documents.

Thanks,
Mike
