Hi, I'm trying to set up a content transformation, and before really getting started I decided to pull one straight off of the wiki to test it out. I created the file custom-context.xml and put it in <classpath>/alfresco/extension and filled it with:

Did I set something up wrong or is the class just missing? I'm using Labs 3.2preview. Is there another way to use an external program for transformations? Thanks a lot.

I just downgraded to 3.0 stable, and it works fine. It seems that the class is missing from the svn and 3.2pre

I have a similar problem in the attempt to replace pdfbox with pdftotext - I was not able to get it to work so far using the pdftotext. I get this error with seems to be similar to yours - I am using 3.2 release:

I think the last item in this wiki page: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Upgrading_to_Alfresco_Community_Edition_3.2 explains what changes need to be made to any RuntimeExecutableContentTransformer declarations.

Figured it out. You need to add a mimetypeService property to the declaration

         <ref bean="mimetypeService" />

i have the same problem,in v3.0 i can transform my transformation but in v3.2 i can't set RuntimeExecutableContentTransformer to work.
Here is my xml:

If you look at https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ETHREEOH-2704 - this is still an open bug. However, your pre-poster seemed to be able finding a workaround - I didn't try that.
