I'd recommend buying one of the excellent Alfresco book - search Amazon or have a look at the main wiki page: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Main_Page

Also, it sounds like you need to do some basic Java / JSP / Eclipse tutorials before diving into the Alfresco code.
