Unable to delete file

mattsmith

Hi All,

I have several files that I am unable to delete from the alfresco share, I have read through multiple posts but have had no luck resolving this issue. Below are the steps i have tried and the results.

1.Delete file from share – could not delete file
2.Delete file from alfresco web interface – Unable to delete File due to system error: 06073729 Unable to get document list entry for resource null:null
3.Delete file from CIFS – File disappears but then re-appears
4.Change file names so that they appear with no spaces – could not delete file

Below is an entry from my log file at the time of deleting a file from the alfresco web interface (step2)

10:40:37,493 ERROR [org.alfresco.web.ui.common.Utils] Unable to delete File due to system error: 06073732 Unable to get document list entry for resource null:null

Sorry, no ideas but I have exactly the same issue this morning with two documents I created/checked-in and out of Google docs last week. Looks like it should be added to JIRA as a bug…

prajithlal

Could you do a complete reindex during startup and then delete the files again?

rays

Tried FULL reindex but problem remains the same, cannot be deleted. Here is the node details for one of the affected files, showing 3 "–null–" values:

Any news here? I've also tried out GoogleDocs and now I cannot delete a file…

soborno

Try to delete it from the FTP server. Anyway if you can´t delete any it´s not going to be handy

Regards,
Claudio

goldmar

I could successfully delete it by setting googledocs.googleeditable.enabled=false again… maybe this will help somebody.

ashokharnal

I am even unable to delete the site after checking in a file from Google Docs.
But was successfully able to delete the site after setting googledocs.googleeditable.enabled=false.

But then I deleted the site, reset the googledocs.googleeditable.enabled=true,
and created another site. On this site I was unable to create Google docs content. The following message
appeared:
Failed to create content: org.alfresco.repo.forms.FormException: 08010001 Failed to persist form for 'cm:content' as 'alf_destination' data was not provided.
