Add external user

my understanding is that an email should be sent to the external user with a link to access the site. questions:
1. how will that user log-in without username and password?
2. the explorer is sending email but share is not sending email?

how to solve this.

It generates a random username and password.

Alfresco is the repository providing the required services. Share is just a UI on top of Alfresco repository.
