Tomcat startup

Since yesterday, when i "start the alfresco server", tomcat doesn't start anymore. Only mysql starts correctly as before. And thus i can't use alfresco!
I haven't changed anything on my system. Even on my other computer i get the same problem. I even tried to unistall & reinstall the whole thing, but i get the same problem.

It's a common problem? How do i solve this?

Uhmm wait…
Now i see i've posted the wrong file. There are many .log files in the alfresco directory, each with the date in the file name (except those i already opened once with notepad). What i've posted before is an old one…
But i can't find a recent log file in this directory: the newest is far too old 09.12.2009, which means before the problem came up
Maybe since tomcat does not start the log file is not created??

I've found the problem!
I was trying to install SIDE-labs, following the guide at http://www.side-labs.org/wiki/index.php/Documentation:User:Installation
At "Step 2: Configure JDK 1.5/1.6" i've set the JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME, but this seems to create problems with alfresco (tomcat doesn't start)

Is there a way to get both things working?
