Installation problem in Gentoo

I have install gentoo-tomcat-bundle inside linux

when I type ./alfresco.sh run

and

When I type

netstat -anp | grep 8084 (My tomcat is using 8084 port)

tcp6       0      0 :::8084                 :::*                    LISTEN     19529/java
tcp6     375      0 10.114.65.10:8084       10.114.65.51:3565       ESTABLISHED-
tcp6     376      0 10.114.65.10:8084       10.114.65.51:3561       CLOSE_WAIT -

It seems success.

But When I type [machinename]:8084 which pointing to the tomcat server, nothing come out.

May I know what is the problem.

I have solve all the enviroment variable like JAVA_OPTS, JAVA_HOME … and I believe is other problems.

Hi, All the settings seems correct.

catalina.out does not show any log

only show the tomcat is start successfully.

I believe dunno whether the bundle alfresco consist of some problem.

I am not sure is mysql problem.

But I believe as default it use derby database.

Yet I have install mysql in the server.

If got any error. At least exception throw, no exception, and sometimes tomcat stop automatically, sometimes it can hold for a long time

My operating system is using gentoo.

Can anyone help me? Or Alfresco does not test it in all operating system since it is open source ?
