Hi i have installed Alfresco 3.3g in ubuntu server from "Alfresco-Community-3.3g-Linux-x86-Install"

Now when I am starting the alfresco using alf_start.sh but i am getting following error in the log :-

That's an error that occurs on shutdown.

If you can't start up there's probably another error reported further up the log which is reported before alfresco starts shutting down.

Need some more information I'm afraid. What exactly is your problem?

Please note that the shutdown error reported at the start of this thread is an annoying symptom of something else, not the cause of the problem. And that particular error was fixed long ago.

We have updated our JDK to 6.0_23 from 6.0 and reinstall the application and the problem was resolved..
Dont know this was the solution but it works in my case….

I have the same problem as yours.
As I can read you succeed in changing the JDK.

Can you explain me how you change the JDK since it is bundled in the installer. The JAVA release in the installe is java_1_6-_7 whereas mine is 1_6_24?

Hi,

You can change the path of JAVA_HOME under SetPaths.bat file which resides in your alfresco installation directory.
