jsf managed bean or spring bean

Hi,

When registering backing beans for wizard and dialog, is it suppose to be registered as:

-  JSF managed bean (declared in faces-config-custom.xml) …
-  …or as spring bean (declared in my-context.xml somehere in the classpath)
?

Is it possible to mix them both?
Is there any way to refer to JSF managed beans from spring context files?
