Thanks for the earlier help by telling me to remove the # from a properties file. Hopefully this is just as easy….

After confirming our latest version of alfresco installed properly I did the following:

*ran db_remove.sql script to remove the alfresco database and alfresco user(s)
*removed the generated alf_data directory
*copied over a backup of the previous alfresco installation's alf_data to /opt/alfresco
*ran db_setup.sql script to create the alfresco database and alfresco user(s)
*(successfully) imported the previous alfresco database with the following statement:

mysql -u alfresco -p alfresco < alfBackup.dump‍

*uncommented db.schema.update = true from ./tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/custom-repository.properties
*started alfresco with ./alfresco start ….lots of updates and patches and no errors!
*attempted to pull up alfresco with a browser ….received an error (will list below)
*stopped alfresco with ./alfresco stop ….waited for the java process to die
*commented db.schema.update = true again
*started alfresco ….solitary warning Userystem WARN [node.index.FullIndexRecoveryComponent] The indexes are not synchronized with the database.
*attempted to pull up alfresco with a browser ….received the same error as above

Hello all,

I have reinstalled alfresco with "index.recovery.mode=AUTO", and no longer am seeing warning/error messages regarding indexes being out of sync with the database. Alfresco still throws a major error (displayed on the webpage) when I try and access it via a web browser. Any ideas on how to fix this? This upgrade is a 2.1.0 -> 3.0Stable migration…
