New workflow in existing workflow

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to add, in an already deployed workflow, a new one ?
For example, when I am at a particular task of the workflow, I realize that I forgot a part, with different elements (several tasks, gateways, etc…). Is there any way to create the missing part after, and add it to a deployed workflow, where it is needed ?

No, Activiti does not support that yet. It would be very cool though 😉

In the user guide, I read the part about Sub-Processes and Call Activities. Maybe it is a solution… But still the same problem, can you create a workflow with a call activity/sub-process, deploy it, and when an instance is started, add a part in the call activity/sub-process already deployed ?

No, the call activity needs to exist when it's called, and you can't change it dynamically then
