Alfresco disk Space overflow

mahkath

Hi All,

I'm facing problem related to disk space.

When my disk space is full Itried deleting unwanted files/folder from Alfresco.

Even When I delete unwanted content from Alfresco, available disk space is not increasing.

Do I need to clear Lucene Indexes also? If I do so then my Alfresco will not startup.

Can anybody suggest what can be done?

Regards,
Mahesh

You should clean contentstore.deleted folder

Thanks for your reply.

Can I delete directly?
I mean when alfresco is up or need to Stop alfresco and delete the content?

Mahesh

I had same problem with disk space recently. I stopped Alfresco server and deleted the contentstore.deleted folder. Then i started server again.
But i am not sure it's right way. I think you can delete this folder without stopping server.

Thank you very much.

I did the same thing.

Hi,
You can delete contentstore.deleted at any time; you'd normally do this after taking a backup.

Hi,

you can configure your auditConfig.xml to close un-necessary services to save your audit entry in database.
