Hello, i have a centos 4.3 final (2.6.9-34.0.1.ELsmp)
I have downloaded more times alfresco-1.3.0-linux-community.bin but i got this message tiring to run it:
Installer payload initialization failed. This is likely due to an incomplete or corrupt downloaded file.
Why?

Same here, installing on Ubuntu 6.0.6.

Got the same output with strace as well.

Same for me on Ubuntu 6.0.6, RedHat ES 4.0 and Debian sarge. Pretty sure that 1.3.0 won't install for anybody except maybe the person who created the package.

Hope there is an update soon.

I think it is a critical bug for installation of alfresco …

I've been installing the alfresco packaged with JBoss. It works for me now. Just follow the readme inside the alfresco-jboss download.

The Linux installer somehow got corrupted on SourceForge. It has been uploaded again (but will take some time to get to all the mirrors).
