First page after login: advanced search

Hi all,

We need to configure Alfresco to show an advanced search page after the user's login. That's to say, when the users logs in to Alfresco, the inital page should be a page where the user could look for documents of our repository specifying some custom properties of the spaces/content.

What's the best way to do that?
- Update the faces-config.xml file to forward the user to the advanced search JSP when the login has returned "success".
- Implement an openSearch extension and show it within a dashlet. (Where can I find info about the openSearch extension?)
- Create a custom dashlet/web script??

I'd appreciate any information!! I have no idea.

Does anyone could help me?

I have tried to create a Dashlet. Firstly I have developed a Form-Based Web Script that shows a form with a textbox and a button that will be used by the user to look for the content with the corresponding text.
It has been tested as a web script (http://localhost:8080/alfresco/service/…) and it works correctly returning to another JSP what the lucene script has found.

However, when I publish this web script as a Dashlet, it does not work. The post page is never shown.
Is it possible to publish a form-based web script as a dashlet or dashlets will always be a unique GET page?

Am I on the right way to create a search page that will appear to the user after his log in?
Please, help!!!
