field definition could not be located

I'm working with an Alfresco Labs E that I've upgraded from C to D in the past, so the data has gone through a couple of schema updates. I currently get the following error in the error log when I view any document in the document library…

Where are the field definitions set up, and is there any documentation on writing a field definition? Is there documentation on making new custom metadata fields?

Ignore it - it's transitional stuff on HEAD (part of the new Forms Service).
