Hi,
Previously I was using IdentityService to set the authenticated user in a filter.

eg. identityService.setAuthenticatedUserId(request.getUserPrincipal().getName());

I want to integrate the new angular app into an existing app and want it to inherit the credentials as do not want to log in twice. I understand it is going to new user/group tables. Is there an easy way to set this so if authenticated previously I can set this in a filter that the new UI can pickup.

So you're saying that .setAuthenticatedUserId was enough in the old Explorer app? I'm not sure how that actually would work.

Looking at increasing number of posts related to activiti-app (Activiti 6.0 UI) I would like to ask/suggest if we shouldn't have a separate sub forum for activiti-app related questions, not to mix them with activiti explorer ones?
