Hello Everyone,
Posted this question in General section a week ago. No replies.
Alfresco labs 3B.
Can't find a way to schedule recurring tasks/events in calendar or anywhere else.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not possible I'm afraid. Please raise an enhancement request in JIRA (being clear about any specific requirements), or maybe try to add the ability yourself as a contribution.

Thanks,
Mike

I'm afraid I will not be able to contribute this time as I'm still testing/learning the product. I will submit a request though. Thank you for quick reply.

FYI, the JIRA RFE already exists: https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/SLNG-426

Hmmm.. that's more of a task placeholder rather than an enhancement request, so it's likely to become lost.

Please raise it as separate ENH issue and link to the SLNG task above.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi All,

I've patched the Alfresco Community 3.2 code to include calender recurrence. I'd deem it 70% complete, allowing for daily, weekly, monthly and annual recurrence.

I've also written a meeting-reminder daemon using the webscript API.

Anyone interested in these contributions can give me a shout and I'll share.

cheers

Hi jasondalycan,

Right now i'm working on calendar events. i'm creating event through java class using web script api. i'm constructing json and using post method to insert event. but alfresco didn't take my date. i'm giving ISO8601DateFormat, but its not accepting, and take the default date. like 1970-01-01.

Can you help me on this?
